Patrick Lowry, 1939 - 2014

Patrick Lowry, 74, passed into the waiting arms of Jesus, Jan. 25, 2014 in Eaton OH.

Pat was born in Inglewood, California and received his B.S. from California State University at Los Angeles and received his graduate degree from Long Beach State University. Pat worked as a contractor for the U.S. government, and other computer companies as a software engineer and project manager and retired from Oracle before he and Carolyn retired to their home in Lake Lakengren, Eaton.

He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Carolyn Lowry; a sister, Sari Staggs of Redondo Beach, California; sister-in-law and brother-in-law Gwen and David Sailer of Tacoma, Washington, and nieces and nephews and their families and many cousins.

Pat is best remembered for his passion for writing music and playing his father's piano; taking colorful pictures of nature and his many travels; and his love of science, especially astronomy.

A memorial service is planned for later in the year. Memorial gifts can be made to Salem Lutheran Church, West Alexandria.
