Fallek, Claudia Yvonne, a 60 year resident of the South Bay, passed away on Sunday, June 10, 2007 in Harbor City. Born in Torrance, CA, Claudia managed to squeeze in 100 years of living in her 67 years of life. 

Claudia was a staunch supporter of the Republican Party, although lately she thought they were a bit spineless. Claudia worked for 40 years in the medical field as an Office Manager for both Medical and Chiropractic Offices. She most recently worked in Retail as a Cashier for Tuesday Morning. In all of her working years she rarely missed a day of work. Claudia had a passion for enjoying life and making the best out of every situation. She enjoyed helping others with her Nikken Magnetic products. Claudia loved her Wire Fox Terriers, fishing, camping, vacations, celebrating, movies, reading, tanning and partying. She especially enjoyed going to the River and her Tuesday night dinners with friends. She also dabbled in match-making. Claudia loved sports and was a formidable opponent on the ping pong table. She couldn't wait for football season to begin. Her favorite team was any team her children or grandchildren favored. She loved watching her grandsons play hockey.

She is survived by Daughter, Terri (Gary) Bain of Redondo Beach, CA; Daughter, Marilou Hayes of Harbor City, CA; Son, Chip (Mary) Fallek of Gilbert, AZ; Brother, John (Roberta) Rhind of Torrance, CA; Granddaughter, Stacey Hayes, Grandson, Chris Bain, Grandson, Michael Hayes, Grandson, Jeff Bain, Grandson, Cole Fallek, Granddaughter, Katie Hayes; Step Granddaughters, Staci Wickstrom, Kerri Francis, Lindsay Packer; and 7 Great Grandchildren. Jeff (Ernestina) Rhind of Hermosa Beach, CA; Nephew, Mike (Mayela) Rhind of El Segundo, CA; She was preceded in death by her Husband of 33 years, Jerry Fallek, Mother, Katharine Rhind, and Father, Dr.Ralph Rhind.

Claudia was a rare person. She had a zest for life that was contagious and a personality that drew people to her She will be extremely missed by all who knew her.
